Tom Woods, a fifth generation Thames Waterman, Managing Director of the Silver Fleet and winner of the prestigious Doggett's Coat & Badge (the oldest rowing race in the World) is currently working on taking the 62 year old family business into the 21st century with an architect-redesign of their flagship the Silver Sturgeon and a new custom designed Thames 'superyacht' for private charter.

Alan Woods, a fourth generation Thames Waterman, founder of the luxurious Silver Fleet and speedy Thames Clippers has revolutionised boat design and quality on the Thames consistently through his long career. An Extra Waterman to HM the Queen, Past Master of the Company of Watermen & Lightermen and leading light on the future of Thames travel.
