Biography

Spencer de Grey is a Senior Executive of Foster & Partners and Head of Design. He joined the office in 1973 and has been responsible for a wide range of projects in the office including Stansted airport, the Great Court at the British Museum, the Commerzbank Headquarters in Frankfurt, Dresden Station and the new courtyard at the Smithsonian Institute, Washington DC.

Foster & Partners' office is located on the south bank of the Thames between Battersea and Albert bridges. Foster + Partners were responsible for the design of the Millennium Bridge, which links St Paul's to the Tate Modern, and the GLA and associated public space, together with the entire business quarter surrounding the GLA.

They have also completed a mixed use development alongside their own office, and have thus been fascinated by, and involved in, the future of the Thames for many years. For more information, please visit www.fosterandpartners.com
