Sir Patrick Cormack

Sir Patrick Cormack has served continuously in the House of Commons since 1970. For 14 years he was Chairman of the House of Commons works of Art Committee and has, since 1979, been Chairman of the Parliamentary Arts and Heritage Group. He loves the Thames and his favourite spot in the Palace of Westminster, about which he wrote Westminster Palace and Parliament, is the Terrace overlooking the river.
