Michael Lynch

Biography

Michael Lynch has been Chief Executive of Southbank Centre since September 2002. Previously he was the Chief Executive of the Sydney Opera House. He is on the Boards of Visit London, the Cultural Leadership Programme and the London Cultural Consortium.

Situated on the South Bank, Michael's office at Southbank Centre overlooks the Thames and his connections to the Thames go back to 1793 when some of his ancestors set sail on a prison ship to Australia!
