Biography

Gwyn Miles is Director of Somerset House Trust.

Somerset House was constructed at the end of the eighteenth century with its feet in the Thames. Its thriving connection with the river was breached when the Victoria Embankment was constructed in the mid-nineteenth century. Somerset House Trust seeks to re-invigorate its link with the river.
