Biography
Dr Smith's historical research has included the works of Sir Joseph Bazalgette associated with the River Thames and includes the Victoria, Albert and Chelsea Embankments, the cleansing of the Thames and Bazalgette's three Thames river crossings, namely, Hammersmith, Putnney and Battersea Bridges.
