Biography - Ewan Foster
Ewan Forster is a writer and site-specific theatre maker creating commissioned works in and about neglected buildings and sites of architectural significance (www.forster-heighes.org.uk). Since 1997 he has lived on the river with his family on the dutch sailing barge ""Twee Gezusters"" and sails regularly on the lower reaches of the Thames. He is a founder member of Hermitage Community Moorings a cooperative of boaters currently engaged in the construction of a harbour for historic vessels on the Wapping riverfront.
Biography - Anna Versteeg
Anna Versteeg is an architect with her own practice. Living in central London on dutch barge Stormvogel on the river Thames for more than10 years, she is very passionate about the river and life on and along the water. She is one of the founder members of Hermitage Community Moorings and currently engaged in the construction of a historic boat harbour on the river Thames in Wapping, 500m downstream of Tower Bridge, completion date December 2008. This exiting project, with its public and educational facilities, will promote the preservation and use of the river in London and far beyond .
