Biography

George Nicholson's connections with the Thames stretches from the start of the last century with the construction of his grandfather’s battleship at Blackwell Iron Works, through to his own career as a ships engineer with The Glen Line, who sailed out of KGV.

Latterly he has been the chairman of the London Rivers Association, a director of Coin Street Community Builders and a Trustee of the Thames Festival.
